Sri Lanka, June 4 -- The 1990 Emergency Ambulance Service (Suwa Seriya) says its operations continue islandwide without interruption, rejecting social media reports claiming that the service had been deactivated.

In a statement, the Board of Directors, including the Chairman, described the circulating claims as "completely false" and misleading to the public.

The management stressed that the emergency ambulance service remains fully functional across the country, providing services in the usual manner with improved efficiency.

They further assured that Suwa Seriya will continue to operate without any disruption in the future.
