The Minister was speaking at the Sixth International Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Power organised by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), held in Incheon, South Korea.

The conference, chaired by South Korean Deputy Prime Minister and Science and ICT Minister Bae Kyung-hoon was held from Oct 27 to 29.

Speaking further, Minister Abeysena emphasised that safety, security and safeguards will be of fundamental importance.
