Srilanka, July 16 -- The "Sirasara Shilpa 2025" national craft and trade exhibition, showcasing creations by inmates from prisons across Sri Lanka, was inaugurated yesterday (July 16) at Diyatha Uyana in Battaramulla.

The exhibition provides a platform to highlight the creative and vocational skills of incarcerated individuals, aiming to support their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.

The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of Justice and National Integration Minister Harsha Nanayakkara and Women and Child Affairs Minister Saroja Savitri Paulraj.
