Sri Lanka, Aug. 3 -- Another milestone in the "Savi Suwa" Prosthetic Limb Programme was achieved on the sacred occasion of Esala Full Moon Poya Day 2026, with the distribution of high-quality artificial limbs to individuals who have lost their legs.
The programme, initiated by the All Ceylon Buddhist Congress (ACBC) in collaboration with the Sri Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti of Jaipur, India and Surana & Surana International Attorneys in India continues its mission of restoring mobility, independence, and dignity to those in need.
The latest Prosthetic Limb Ddonation Programme was held at the ACBC Headquarters Auditorium under the patronage of Chandra Nimal Wakistha, President of the All Ceylon Buddhist Congress.
