Sri Lanka, Feb. 20 -- The 'Samanola Siri - Green Pilgrimage' national programme, implemented by the 'Clean Sri Lanka' Secretariat, commenced its second phase with the launch of a one-day voluntary labour campaign at the Sri Pada (Adam's Peak) sacred site yesterday. The initiative is being carried out via the Nallathanniya and Ratnapura access routes, focusing on the removal of accumulated waste from highly inaccessible locations in the upper precincts of the pilgrimage site.Sri Lanka Travel Guide
