Sri Lanka, July 31 -- The newly constructed 'Jana Arunagama' model village was officially vested in the public yesterday (29).

Initiated in 2018 as part of the Indian Government Grant Aid Model Village Housing Scheme, the construction of this housing project had been stalled from time to time due to economic, social, and diverse challenges faced by the country. Its construction was expedited after the current Government took over.
