Sri Lanka, Aug. 14 -- Walana Anti Corruption Unit Director ASP Rohan Olugala stated that the recent operation to arrest underworld criminal figure 'Kanjipani Imran' was a success despite challenges of operating in a foreign jurisdiction.

He stated that the recent operation in Malaysia to arrest and repatriate organised criminal 'Ratmalana Saima', a chief accomplice of organised underworld gang leader 'Kanjipani Imran' along with two other suspects was part of the ongoing efforts to nab one of the most wanted Interpol red warranted organiced criminals ('Kanjipani Imran').
