Sri Lanka, March 13 -- SJB Member of Parliament Mujibur Rahman stated that the recent increase in fuel prices has created challenges for the public and may also lead to higher prices for goods and services, potentially contributing to an increase in overall inflation.
Speaking at a media briefing held yesterday (12) at the headquarters of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), he said that global fuel prices have been affected by the current tensions in the Gulf region, noting that such increases are not unusual during periods of international instability.
