Sri Lanka, Oct. 20 -- Indian journalist and The Fynprint Editor-in-Chief Neil Borate has commended the cleanliness of Colombo's iconic Galle Face promenade, comparing it favorably to Mumbai.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Borate expressed admiration for how Galle Face manages to remain spotless despite being filled with hawkers and large crowds. "How can a city have a promenade with hawkers & crowds & yet be spotless? This is Galle Face in Colombo. If they can do it, why can't Mumbai?" he wrote.

Borate also mentioned that he was back in Sri Lanka to celebrate Diwali and encouraged Indian travelers to visit, describing the island nation as "close to India, affordable, and absolutely stunning."
