Sri Lanka, March 31 -- Industries and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunnetti stated that the Government aims to make this year the period in which the highest number of entrepreneurial credit facilities is provided, with a massive sum of Rs. 87 billion already allocated for this purpose.

The Minister noted that he has instructed District and Divisional Secretaries to establish a 'land bank' to resolve existing issues regarding the acquisition of land for industries. He further revealed that a digital 'one-stop centre' will be established soon to enable businessmen to obtain necessary permits without bribery or political interference.
