Sri Lanka, Sept. 22 -- Head of Russian House in Colombo, Maria L. Popova on Wednesday said that geopolitical challenges must be approached with caution, stressing that a future-oriented partnership between Sri Lanka and Russia would be advantageous for both nations.
She was of the view that partnership between the two nations will also enhance global stability and prosperity too.
Popova was delivering a lecture on the 'Role of Diplomacy in Russia-Sri Lanka Relations' organised by the International Relations Department of the University of Colombo on Wednesday.
