'Disaster Management' training for Sri Lankan officers in India
Sri Lanka, July 13 -- The eleventh capacity-building programme for 40 Sri Lankan Civil Service officers focused on 'Disaster Management' successfully concluded at National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) in India on July 10.
The two-week programme was organized under a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed in 2024,which aims to train 1,500 Sri Lankan civil servants over a five-year period. With this programme, a total of 440 officers have successfully undergone training under this initiative.
