Nairobi, April 8 -- Former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju's woes deepened Wednesday after he was brought before the Kibera Law Courts to face charges linked to his reported abduction.

Clad in a blue suit, he made his way to the magistrate's court accompanied by his legal team. 

Once in the dock, he pleaded not guilty to charges of falsifying information. 

The court then freed him on a personal bond of Sh100,000 with one contact person. The next hearing date is set for April 16, 2026 to confirm compliance with directions issued by the court.
