Nairobi, April 30 -- The lawmakers, both elected and nominated, are expected to pass good legislation and serve as the watchdogs for the public good. It is a huge betrayal of their actual employers, the voters, when these otherwise honourable men and women serving in the National Assembly and Senate choose to prioritise their personal interests at the people's expense.
