Nairobi, May 3 -- The 14th edition of the Kalasha Awards, a prestigious event celebrating excellence in the Kenyan film and television industry, was hosted on Saturday night at KICC.
The ceremony was attended by President William Ruto, who highlighted the government's commitment to supporting the creative economy.
The president announced plans to incorporate fully equipped audio-visual studios into all affordable housing projects, and pledged to increase funding for the creative sector to Sh1 billion.
