Nairobi, May 4 -- The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has struck a conciliatory tone, signalling a push for unity and internal cohesion as it unveiled fresh strategies ahead of the 2027 General Election.
ODM leaders at the party's retreat in Mombasa reiterated their determination to consolidate the party, restore cohesion, and even bring back the Linda Mwananchi faction into the fold.
On Monday, ODM party leader Dr Oburu Oginga, who was absent from the retreat, through a statement reminded members that they have a party to protect. His speech, delivered on his behalf by deputy party leader and Kisii Governor Simba Arati, emphasised loyalty and discipline as guiding principles.
