Uganda, April 13 -- A chilling account of deception and violence was revealed in the High Court sitting in Ggaba as a daycare caretaker narrated how the man accused of killing four toddlers gained access to the facility by posing as a Good Samaritan before turning on the children in a brutal knife attack.

Phoebe Namutebi, 34, a caretaker at Ggaba Early Childhood Development Centre, testified as Prosecution Witness Six, detailing her interaction with the accused a day before the killings and the horrifying events that followed.

Namutebi told court that she first encountered prime murder suspect Christopher Okello Onyum on April 1 , 2026 at around 11am when he approached the daycare gate seeking admission for a child.
