Uganda, May 10 -- The government will fund the commission of inquiry set up by President Museveni to resolve the long-running violent land conflict in Apaa, State Minister for Northern Uganda Rehabilitation Dr. Kenneth Omona has said.
Speaking to residents of Andara Village, Labala Parish, Pabbo Sub-County, in Amuru District over the weekend, Dr. Omona said the money will be available to the commission in the new financial year. That, he said, will allow the team to dig into the issues driving violence in the disputed area.
