What to know as open court trial in Kampala toddler killings starts on Monday
Uganda, April 11 -- The High Court is set to hold the maiden trial of Christopher Okello Onyum, the suspect in the killing of four toddlers at a daycare centre in Ggaba, Kampala, on Monday, 13th, the Minister for State for Children Affairs, Barugahara Balaam Ateenyi, announced on Friday.
The Minister said in a statement that the open trial that will be held at Gaba Community School Grounds is in response to public demand and guidance of President Yoweri Museveni, noting that it will be held between 9:00am and 4:00pm, lasting one week.
