Uganda, April 22 -- Uganda and Rwanda have signed four new Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) during the 12th session of the Joint Permanent Commission (JPC) held in Kampala from April 20 to April 22.
The MoUs, in the fields of health, education, agriculture and Local Government, have set the ground for further reinforcement of the institutional framework for collaboration between the two countries.
Uganda's delegation was led by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in-charge of Regional Cooperation, Mr John Mulimba, while Dr Usta Kaitesi, the Rwandan Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, led the delegation from Kigali.
