Uganda, May 13 -- Uganda Airlines has officially welcomed the first of two newly leased aircraft into its fleet, marking a strategic move to address growing capacity constraints and enhance operational reliability. The aircraft, acquired through a wet-lease partnership with Ethiopian Airlines, touched down at Entebbe International Airport this week.

The arrival of the Boeing 737-800 (registered as ET-APL) is the first phase of a short-term arrangement intended to bridge the gap in the carrier's mid-range capabilities.
