Two arrested in Mukono over posing as UEDCL staff to steal power cables
Uganda, April 9 -- Police in Mukono District are holding two suspects over alleged electricity vandalism and impersonation after they reportedly posed as officials from Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited.
The suspects have been identified as Paul Kakooza, 24, and Bernley Tenywa, 32, both electricians.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson SP Rachel Kawala, the incident occurred in Kasai area in Mukono District.
