Uganda, May 3 -- The police in Luuka district have arrested two people in connection with a robbery incident at Elim Pentecostal Church in Bulanga Ward, Bulanga Town Council, on Saturday night.

The suspects, Ashurawi Kafuko and Alex Bikundi, were picked up from Emmanson Lodge, which is about 500 meters away from the crime scene, following a coordinated operation by the police from Bulanga Police Station and the Canine Unit from Iganga.

The duo, who reportedly carried a rifle at the time, posed as persons seeking prayers for a sick relative, and upon gaining entry, attacked the victim, Mr Adison Mande, the assistant presiding pastor, physically assaulted him and restrained him using improvised materials.
