The rot eating up Lango sub-region
Uganda, April 13 -- The Lango sub-region is grappling with several burdens, ranging from quack doctors, drug abuse, poverty, disputes and misinformation, putting the public in despair.
Such has triggered health crises, poverty, and mental health issues, with the majority of the population affected being the youth.
Lira City, which harbours the majority population of the sub-region, is battling toxic substances and alcohol, with toxicity levels as high as 60%, and many unregulated or uncertified by standard bodies.
