Uganda, April 22 -- Police in Mukono District are investigating a case of aggravated robbery and murder following the death of a radiography specialist attached to a local clinic.

Dr Peter Mubiru attached to Happy Doctors Africa Health Services was reportedly attacked in the evening of April 19, 2026, in Bagala Zone, Goma Division, Mukono Municipality.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Public Relations Officer, Luke Owoyesigyire, Dr Mubiru was reportedly hit with on the head with a blunt object at 7pm as he returned home. The assailants were reportedly riding on a motorcycle.
