Uganda, April 10 -- President Museveni has praised the late Kikuube District Chairperson, Peter Banura, for advancing a pro-people development agenda, as leaders used his burial to call for stronger action against reckless driving.
The President's message, delivered by Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja on Thursday, described Banura as a leader committed to improving livelihoods.
"The late district chairperson championed a pro-people agenda by prioritising unity, wealth creation, construction of roads, tourism, and environmental conservation. He considered leadership as an opportunity to solve the problems of the people," Museveni said.
