Uganda, April 7 -- President Museveni has intervened in escalating land disputes at Nsowe Central Forest Reserve in Gomba District, directing security agencies to restore order and resolve competing claims among tree planters, cattle keepers, and local residents.

The directive was conveyed during an emergency stakeholders' meeting convened on April 4 by Internal Security Organisation (ISO) Director General Arthur Mugenyi, who said the President was determined to end the chaos over user rights on the forest land.
