Makerere University medical student dies in Kampala road crash
Uganda, April 9 -- Michael Musisi, a first-year medical student at Makerere University, was on Thursday knocked dead by a motorcycle in Kampala.
News about the incident was broken on social media, with friends calling upon his relatives to check out for his body at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) mortuary.
Makerere University dean of students, Dr Winifred Kabumbuli, confirmed the incident to this publication, saying the deceased was a non-resident medical student.
"We regret to inform the University Community that Mr Musisi Michael (25/U/30482/PS), a first-year non-resident medical student, has passed away on April 8th following a motor crash," Dr Kabumbuli said.
