Uganda, April 16 -- Two landlords who previously rented houses to Christopher Okello Onyum, the prime suspect in the Ggaba daycare killings, on Thursday testified before the High Court, describing him as a calm tenant with no unusual behaviour in the months leading up to the alleged attack.

Okello is accused of attacking children at Ggaba Early Childhood Development Centre on April 2, leaving at least four toddlers dead.

The witnesses appeared before Justice Alice Komuhangi Khaukha during the ongoing mobile High Court session in Ggaba.

The first witness, Mr Paul Mukasa, told the court that Okello rented his house in Bunga from November last year until March this year, when he suddenly disappeared.
