Uganda, April 30 -- Kamuli Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Rose Birungi, has dismissed reports suggesting that the government has started distributing women and food supplies to a section of men across the country at no cost.She noted that the social media claims which alleged that the government was providing wives along with luxurious items such as two iron sheets and a bed were baseless.

Ms Birungi advised the public to be vigilant and exercise caution regarding the alleged collection of National ID cards from men for the purported purpose of wife allocation.
