At 5, April 23 -- 50pm on April 23, 2026, the family, relatives and friends witnessed the lowering of the remains of Kalangala District Woman Member of Parliament Helen Nakimuli at her ancestral ground in Lunyolya village, Kalagala sub-county in Luweero District.

While different speakers that graced the final send-off ceremony repeatedly called for a conclusive postmortem report to clear the many unanswered questions that even her close family members have no direct answers, the family and a section of the leaders prayed that the people of Kalangala get a legislator whose character matches that of Nakimuli.
