Uganda, May 9 -- The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Community Affairs, Rebecca Kadaga, has unveiled a wide-ranging government plan aimed at accelerating economic transformation in the Busoga Sub-region through industrialisation, infrastructure development and tourism promotion.
Addressing Busoga-based journalists, the Kamuli District Woman MP, said the government has prioritised the establishment of industrial parks, expansion of key infrastructure and youth empowerment programmes to stimulate economic growth and job creation in the Eastern Uganda sub-region.She revealed that land already been secured for industrial parks in the Sigulu Islands in Namayingo District and in Iganga District.
