Uganda, April 7 -- The High Court in Kampala is expected to deliver its final verdict on the former State Minister for Karamoja Affairs, Agnes Nandutu, in the Karamoja iron sheet saga, tomorrow, Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

The judgment by Justice Jane Okuo Kajuga of the Anti-Corruption Division follows a  joint opinion by assessors who advised the court to find the outspoken legislator guilty of dealing with suspect property in the Karamoja iron sheets saga.

On April 1, 2026, the three assessors; Rose Joanittah, Bob Nabende and Sarah Namayanja told court that the prosecution had proved key elements of the offence, particularly that Nandutu dealt with the iron sheets and had knowledge relating to their irregular acquisition.
