Uganda, May 1 -- The Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) is set to unveil an ambitious Clean Air Action Plan aimed at reducing dangerous air pollutants by 50 percent by 2030. City leaders describe the initiative as a major step toward safeguarding public health and ensuring a sustainable future for Uganda's capital.

Speaking at an air quality dialogue in Kampala today (Thursday), KCCA Executive Director Hajjati Sharifah Buzeki said the plan adopts a citywide approach that assigns responsibility to government agencies, the private sector, civil society, and residents.
