Uganda, May 1 -- With the introduction of a new curriculum in schools, many vulnerable children in Jinja city are able to pursue education.

The children, who mostly live with single mothers in the poverty-stricken areas of Soweto and Masese in the south division of the city are turning into entrepreneurs within the schools they study from to generate fees using skills attained out of the competent based curriculum.

Mr Hannington Mukisa, a senior two student at Masese Seed Secondary School, noted that he joined senior one with no clear source of school fees of Shs120,000 but by the end of the year, he had got a solution, after going through the practical lessons of the new curriculum.''My project was in bar soap making when I joined seco...
