Uganda, May 2 -- The Government has initiated steps to streamline operations at Uganda Air Cargo Corporation following findings by the Auditor General highlighting implementation gaps in a joint venture arrangement aimed at revitalising the national carrier.The Auditor General's report for the financial year 2024/2025 reviewed progress under the Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) between the Government of Uganda and Alpha MBM DWC-LLC, noting that while the partnership was intended to boost capacity and efficiency, a number of obligations on both sides were still pending one year after signing.According to the report, the foreign partner is yet to fully roll out key components of the agreement, including fleet expansion, mobilisation of additio...
