Uganda, April 15 -- Mzee Besweri Kaddu, the late father of Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kazimba Mugalu, the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, will be buried on Friday, 17, the Anglican Church has stated in a funeral program released on Wednesday.

Born on August 1, 1933, Mzee Kaddu, 93, passed away on Monday afternoon from Mengo Hospital, where he had been admitted over the weekend.

Mr Adams Sadiiki, the personal assistant to the Archbishop, said Kaddu said the funeral service will be held at All Saints Cathedral, Nakasero, on Thursday, starting 10 am, and it will be followed by a vigil at his home in Gulama, Najja, Buikwe district, starting at 6 pm.

He added that the burial will take place on Friday, starting at Midday.
