Sri Lanka, July 31 -- A 23-year-old man was shot dead in the Duwamodara area of Kosgoda early this morning (31), police said.
According to reports, two unidentified gunmen arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire at around 5:15 a.m. Initial investigations revealed that a T-56 assault rifle was used in the attack.
The victim has been identified as the son of a turtle conservation centre owner in Kosgoda.
