Sri lanka, Oct. 2 -- Colombo, October 2 (Daily Mirror) - The Yal Devi express train operating between Colombo Fort and Kankesanthurai (KKS) will experience delays due to essential repair work on the railway line between Vavuniya and Omanthai, the Railways Department announced.
According to a communique, from October 7, train No. 4077 will leave Colombo Fort at 6.40 a.m. and arrive at Vavuniya at 11.35 a.m. The train will then halt at Vavuniya station for two hours and forty minutes before departing at 2.15 p.m. This schedule will remain in effect for 11 days.
Meanwhile, Yal Devi train No. 4078 will be delayed by 30 minutes during the same period, departing from Kankesanthurai at 11.00 a.m. instead of the usual time.
