SriLanka, Sept. 4 -- The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that the water supply will be suspended until 11.30 p.m. on September 4, 2026, due to maintenance work being carried out on the Ambatale-Dehiwala water transmission pipeline near Diyatha Uyana in Battaramulla.
The Board said the interruption is necessary to facilitate the maintenance work.
As such, the public has been requested to make necessary arrangements in advance and contact the NWSDB hotline 1939, available 24 hours a day, for further information.
