Sri Lanka, Aug. 6 -- More than 50 students of Divulwewa Maha Vidyalaya in Trincomalee have been hospitalised after being attacked by wasps, police said.

The students were stung after a wasp nest located in a school building was disturbed, causing the insects to attack.

The affected students were admitted to the Mahadivulwewa Hospital for treatment, while three female students who were in a serious condition were transferred to the Trincomalee General Hospital.
