Sri Lanka, Aug. 3 -- Veteran actor and comedian Madhan Bob, also known as Krishnamurthy, died at 71 in Chennai on Saturday (August 2) evening. Known for his impressive work in Tamil cinema, the news of his demise has left fans in shock. He died at his Adyar residence after battling cancer for a few years, according to reports.

Prabhudeva, who shared the screen with Madhan offered his condolences. He shared a photo on X and wrote, "We shared the screen, and his presence always brought joy to the set. Cheerful, kind, and full of humour he made everyone feel happy around him. Heartfelt condolences to his family. He'll always be remembered (sic)."
