Sri Lanka, July 19 -- Two youths were killed after a motorcycle collided with a sand-transporting tipper truck in the Kananvila area on the Horana - Moragahahena road, early this morning.

The two individuals, who sustained critical injuries from the accident, were pronounced dead after being admitted to the Horana District General Hospital.

Police said the deceased are aged 25 and 17 and residents of Pannipitiya and Kiriwaththuduwa.

They met with the accident while returning home after watching a musical concert held in the Horana area.
