SriLanka, April 12 -- The Pakistan Navy Ships (PNS) 'Taimur' and 'Aslat' arrived at the Port of Colombo today, on a goodwill visit. The visiting vessels were accorded a traditional welcome by the Sri Lanka Navy in keeping with established naval customs.

PNS Taimur is commanded by Captain Niamat Saeed Khan, while PNS Aslat is under the command of Captain Nadir Mateen Afridi.

During their stay, the visiting ships are scheduled to take part in the bilateral naval exercise, LION STAR V, alongside the Sri Lanka Navy in the seas off Colombo. The exercise is expected to enhance cooperation and strengthen maritime ties between the two navies.
