Sri Lanka, Aug. 11 -- Two suspects have been arrested with a large quantity of highly protected animal parts during a surprise raid in the Paradise area of the Kuruwita Police Division yesterday (10), based on intelligence provided by the Sri Lanka Air Force.

Wildlife officers, together with officers of the Police Special Task Force (STF), conducted the raid and recovered several animal parts, including three antlers, four deer antlers, an ivory pendant, an ivory ring, two two-inch-long ivory sticks, an ivory crystal casket, seven elephant tooth fragments, an antler-handled sword, part of a fox skin and a piece of musk.
