Colombo, Oct. 26 -- The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested three individuals in connection with the murder of Weligama Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Lasantha Wickramasekera, police said.

The suspects, including a woman, were taken into custody in the Kekirawa area today (26).

According to police, further investigations are currently underway to uncover more details related to the incident.
