Sri Lanka, Aug. 11 -- Three suspects were arrested over the shooting incident near the Sahaspura housing complex in Borella, where two persons among the five injured succumbed to their injuries after being admitted to the hospital, police said.

The suspects aged 24, 25 and 40 years are from the Dematagoda and Borella areas.

Earlier, another suspect was arrested over the incident and he is currently being questioned under a three-day detention order.

The incident occurred on Thursday night (August 7) near the Sahaspura Sirisara Housing Complex, where five youths were injured and hospitalised.

Two of them died after being admitted to the hospital, while others are still being treated at the National Hospital, Colombo.
