Sri Lanka, Aug. 23 -- A third party has interfered into the enforcement of the rule of law, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said today.

He came up with this remark after visiting former President Ranil Wickremesinghe in prison this morning.

"A third party had actually predicted how the judiciary was going to act with regard to the case against the former President. How can such a thing take place when the Constitution is clear about how the rule of law should prevail," he added.
