SriLanka, June 20 -- A 32-year-old man was arrested in the Iranawila area of Meetiyagoda after police recovered more than one kilogram of the narcotic known as "ICE" and 750 grams of heroin during a raid conducted by the Central Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB).

The operation was carried out on Friday (19) by officers attached to the CCIB's Homicide and Organised Crime Investigation Division following intelligence-led investigations into a large-scale drug trafficking operation.

During the raid, officers seized 1.118 kilograms of ICE and 750 grams of heroin from the suspect, who is a resident of the Iranawila area.
