Sri Lanka, Aug. 10 -- Sri Lankan student Deshabhi Weerawardane has assumed duties as the new President of Junior Enterprises Europe (JE Europe), marking a significant milestone for Sri Lankan youth in international student leadership and entrepreneurship.
The inauguration and official handover ceremony was held recently, at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium. The ceremony marked the beginning of Weerawardane's tenure at the helm of one of Europe's prominent student-led enterprise networks.
The occasion was attended by the Sri Lankan Ambassador, alongside members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the European Union and student delegates from across Europe.
